You have to distribute your calcium intake and not eat the whole daily intake of 1000 mg at one time, but lets say 500 mg in the morning and 500 mg in the evening.
The approach is very limited. In addition the suggested vitamin D dose in not large enough to raise the circulating vitamin D levels to sufficient level. Adults need about 75 mcg (3000 IU) of vitamin D3 daily.
1:18 you can get Vitamin D from Sunlight and certain foods.
Osteoporosis is a disease/condition that can be easily prevented, from medication to lifestyle there are a lot of methods to prevent it. In lifestyle some prevention steps may be nutrition, exercise, etc. And in medication there are different drugs that may be prescribed by an expert, that help regulating our calcium/magnesium/Vitamin D levels. More useful videos on Osteoporosis are available at Symposier site, visit it. (Site for Physicians and Medical Experts).
too much protein in the diet causes calcium to leach out of the bones
Awsome advise!!

International Unit?, wtf?
She forgot to mention that you get most of your vitamin D through sunlight exposure.
it says it at the beginning? HAVING YOUR BONES DETERIORATE
lol “get your vitemen D from the sun” you hear this (as you sit at your computer under a floresient bulb in the base ment)
I think it’s something you get living on the international space station.
OR?
wow a video about Osteoporosis but they dont even tell what it is?
I agree. You can blame the American Dairy Industry. They planted this bullshit by paying off Congress and changing the pyramid. They also got Congress to brainwash our children into providing milk to our kids in our schools. Again as always it’s money from special interests that perpetuate this myth. Read the book and NY Times Bestseller, “The China Study” by Campbell it’s awesome. It refutes this nonsense.
500mg at a time? wtf? what is this? at a time as in, per day? per week? per year??
or cereal………lol
lol
Look it up, people! This video is perpetuating the myth about calcium. The US has the largest average calcium intake and the HIGHEST rate of osteoporosis in the world!

Fortified Juice of cereal?
i would be nice if you explain what an international unit is, howcast….
sigh..my parents have it, time to drink more milk now.
